With reference to our interview this morning,
I am directed to inform you that the case of the S.S. "Tartar"
has been brought to the notice of His Excellency the Governor,
who regrets his inability to interfere in the matter.

I am to suggest that you should place yourself in communication with the Harbour Master, who is the Officer
of this Government empowered by law to deal with such cases.
